Designed For:
Parents who are required by the court, DCF, or another agency to complete a parenting education course—and who want real tools to build a more connected, calm, and consistent relationship with their child.
Course Format:
All courses are 100% online and self-paced. Upon completion, students receive a court-friendly Certificate of Completion with a unique serial number for verification.

Covers everything in the 6-hour course, plus adds powerful communication tools to strengthen your relationship and reduce misunderstandings, power struggles, and resistance. -
10-Hour Class: Discipline & Household Harmony
Includes all previous topics, with additional training on effective, respectful discipline techniques. Learn how to create calm, order, and clear expectations in your home without yelling or harsh punishments. -
12-Hour Class: Long-Term Parenting Success
Builds on the full curriculum with a final module focused on long-term parenting strategies, mindset shifts, and routines that support emotional regulation, connection, and cooperation well beyond the early years.

Designed For:
Parents who are navigating separation, divorce, or shared custody—and who have been ordered by the court, DCF, or a mediator to complete a co-parenting or divorce education class.
Course Format:
All courses are self-paced, 100% online, and accessible on any device. Each student receives a Certificate of Completion with a unique serial number for easy court verification.

Builds on the previous tiers with focused tools for navigating power struggles, setting boundaries, and making respectful, child-focused decisions—especially when your co-parent may be difficult or uncooperative. -
10-Hour Class: Parenting Consistency & Long-Term Stability
Includes everything above, plus strategies for staying consistent across two homes, building routines your child can rely on, and reducing long-term co-parenting stress. -
12-Hour Class: High-Conflict Co-Parenting & Healing
Adds advanced tools for navigating toxic or high-conflict dynamics (including with narcissistic or emotionally abusive co-parents), and helping your child heal, cope, and thrive despite the challenges.
🔥 Anger Management for Parents
Designed For:
Parents who have been ordered by the court, DCF, or another agency to complete an anger management course in response to concerns about emotional regulation, communication, or conflict within the family.
Why It’s Different:
This is not a generic anger management class. It was created specifically for parents and focuses on the real-life challenges of raising kids, managing stress, and staying emotionally in control in the heat of the moment. The lessons are practical, non-judgmental, and rooted in child psychology and emotional regulation strategies.

That’s why I’ve built in multiple safeguards to ensure that every certificate issued by Modern Parenting Solutions is authentic, secure, and verifiable.

Each certificate is clearly branded with the Modern Parenting Solutions logo so you can easily identify where it came from.
Student’s Full Name
Only one name per certificate is allowed. We do not permit shared logins or multiple students under a single registration.
Course Title & Duration
The course name and number of hours are clearly listed, so there’s no confusion about what was completed.
Unique Serial Number
Each certificate is issued through Teachable with a system-generated serial number that is completely unique. No two certificates have the same ID.
Official Signature
Each certificate includes my digital signature to confirm that the student has completed the entire course in good faith.

I’m Dr. Becca Ballinger, a licensed child psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and families through my private practice in Southern California.
I created these online courses after seeing a real need:
Parents were being ordered to take classes—but many of the available options were outdated, unrelatable, or lacked real psychological insight. I wanted to change that.
Each course I offer is rooted in research-backed strategies, trauma-informed principles, and my decades of experience helping families through tough transitions—like divorce, custody disputes, emotional regulation issues, or high-conflict co-parenting.

Is this a legitimate program, or just a certificate mill?
This is a real, structured course created by a licensed child psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. Students are required to watch every video lesson in full, complete short comprehension quizzes, and submit a course evaluation before they’re eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion. Each certificate includes a unique serial number and cannot be issued unless all course requirements are met.
What prevents someone from cheating or skipping through the content?
All of my courses are hosted on Teachable, a professional online course platform that’s built with integrity and student accountability in mind. The system is set up to prevent students from skipping ahead—each video lesson must be watched in full before the next module becomes available.
In addition to the structured lesson flow, students are required to:

Enroll individually, as I issue only one certificate per registered student
Every Certificate of Completion is generated through Teachable and includes a unique serial number that can be verified by courts or agencies. These safeguards ensure that students are actually engaging with the material and not simply clicking through to earn a certificate.
What if the parent isn’t tech-savvy? Can they still complete the course?
Absolutely. The courses are built on a simple, mobile-friendly platform that works on phones, tablets, and computers. The layout is straightforward, and I offer support if a parent needs help logging in or navigating the material.
What happens after a parent completes the course?
Once a parent completes all course lessons and submits the final course evaluation, they are immediately emailed a PDF Certificate of Completion. This certificate includes a unique serial number, my professional credentials, the course title, and the total number of hours completed.
How can I verify a certificate?
To maintain program integrity, certificate verification is only available to judges, court personnel, or agency workers. Attorneys or private individuals cannot request verification. Please complete the short form above and include your official email address—I’ll reply within 24 hours.
Can I preview course content?
